Up by how much ??

Finally getting round to coming back to Kefalos again, its been 5 long years since we were last here. Obviously stuff has gone up but can anyone give me an idea of how much things are now?

I think you will find relatively little. Most places a Mythos is between Euro 2 - 2.50, cocktails can be had from about 3 - 3.50, a meal for under 10.0 in some places. Depends where you go. Pays to have a wander around. I think you will be pleasantly surprised. Hope this helps.

OK thanks for that, having not been for a few years I wondered if prices had hiked up as they do in some places, looking forward to it even more now

Last year Sydneys had put their beer up to 4 Euros a pint 
Needless to say, I went elsewhere where it was 2.50 or less.

As will I if the prices are still the same. My initial idea was to try and gauge how much I should take out with me as we are only B&B and haven't been for 5 years.

I thought that was what I'd said ! I used to go to Sydneys regularly but when they wanted 4 Euros last year they lost my custom.

Unfortunately some of the cheaper draught beers are very thin and tasteless and a number of bars in Kefalos (including Acropol, sadly) have changed to these (more profit I suppose) but I choose my beer by what it's like not purely on what it costs, but as stated previously, 4Euros/Pint is far too much in Kefalos.

at that price might as well go to your local pub, it's UK prices. personally i don't drink beer but i have noticed that wine and spirits vary enormously, anywhere from 2.50 to 6 euros. the prices outside of kef are still reasonable as well.
