Yes - a bit worrying. Just seen a photo in the Daily Mail of holidaymakers walking past migrants lying outside the police station in Kos town. We're due there in two weeks time - we were concerned about Greece defaulting on the loan & cashpoints being closed etc but now this! Let's hope there is a quick solution for all concerned.

There has been refugees there for a long while, its just the Daily Mail trying to make matter worse.

Probably not the best if you are staying next door!
But people out there on holiday and who live there report no problems at all....unless you go looking for them of course!

just got back today, kefalos very quiet, didn't go to kos town but there are reports of some refugees there but not that many most have gone to rhodes or the mainland.

Thank heavens for that. I,ve just got back from Zante and reading the papers daily was rather worrying. No sign of that there. We,re off on the 20th of this month and was worried that Kefalos might have been affected. Thanks for your report.

I'm Kefalos in B52 at the moment. No migrants etc. Please don't be put off from coming as everything here is great. The locals need us.

Hi Vanman, we are coming back out next Tuesday (30th) for a week, short notice.  Looking forward to a week relaxing in the sun.

Looking forward to our stay in Kefalos for windsurfing - two weeks to go!
My wife and I have been going for 18 years now - both of us love it!

Lots on the news about the migrants in Kos town.
I can't see any reason why the migrants would want to come to Kefalos, they probably just want to get to the rest of Europe.

Does anyone have first hand accounts of whether Kefalos is affected in any way?

We've just returned from Kefalos and there have been no direct effects from the migrant situation, indirectly visitor numbers seem to be down as people seem to be avoiding Kos in general.
